Q. Is the data I input into this system secure?

A. The dedicated servers are located in a state-of-the-art datacenter, which provide biometric access controls, constant surveillance, redundant power feeds and generators, robust fire suppression, and carefully monitored climate control to protect the servers that store your departments data. All information travelling between your browser and is protected from eavesdroppers with 256- bit SSL encryption. The lock icon in your browser lets you verify that you aren't talking to a phishing site impersonating and that your data is secure in transit.

Q. How often is my data backed up?

A. The data in your account is replicated across multiple database servers in two geographic locations to prevent a single failure from causing data loss. Additionally, that data is backed up two separate times a day and stored in a secure offsite location to ensure that, even in the event of a catastrophe like a tornado or flood, your information will be safe and your records can be quickly restored.

A. With you can customize your application to meet your specific agency needs. Manage custom drop downs allowing you to ask and track specific options within each training and usage report.

Q. Do you support group training?

A. With your agency can setup and manage training days and then share that information with any other agency/user on Your training manager can setup a training day, include all information for that event and then push it out to other users in that training group allowing each user to login, accept the training day and then that information will be placed into their account.

Q. How do I access the K9track application?

A. Since is a web based application there are no software packages to download and install, no record synchronization and no data backups are required by the end user. We manage all data synchronization, storage security and daily backups for you. All you need is internet access.

Q. What type of support do you offer?

A. Phone support is available Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm CST. If you are the Administrator of your account you can reach us via phone by dialing (858) 777-3014. Support tickets are also a way for users to leave support request. This can be bug issues, special request or any other comment that needs to be addressed by a staff member.

Q. Can I approve reports and administer other handlers?

A. With multi-user accounts, administrators can manage users reports, send a report back to a user if the report has errors thus allowing for the originating user to correct the errors and then resubmit the report for review and approval. Account administrators can also manage other users accounts restricting access to certain areas of the application.
